Get printer drivers from the manufacturers!

Let's start a campaign to get manufacturers to in write Linux divers for their products! If enough of us ask politely, they'll probably see there's enough demand and do it. Frankly I'd I'd like my Lexmark X5150 to be able to do more than move a clean piece of paper from the top to the bottom like I have now under Edubuntu 8.04 or 8.10.

I campaign by purchasing products that are supported in Linux and make sure to send a Thank You note to that company telling them I am using Linux and appreciate their supporting my OS of choice..

It's not enough just to complain to the ones that Don't support Linux you MUST thank the ones that do so they will continue.
