gentoo: pentium4 smp support and kernel 2.6.7 problems


i have pentium4 smp processor
when i build gentoo-dev-sources kernel (2.6.7-r11) with smp support
it doesn't boot at all, just black screen
without smp support and only with "CONFIG_MPENTIUM4=y"
all is right

what's wrong?
