i'm trying to install geforce2 on my system. i'm a debian user and there is a
handy guide the "trouble" of that guide is that it requires a apt-get repository that has nvidia packages. if anyone knows such repository please show me it. i would like to execute "apt-get install module-assistant nvidia-kernel-common" and that it would work.
deb
http://people.debian.org/~rdonald/nvidia modules-unstable/i386/
deb
http://http.us.debian.org/debian $NVDIST main contrib non-free
having the above in /etc/apt/sources.list doesn't help
is that guide wrong and there is an easier way to make my ga work?
i'm using this guide couse the run file from nvidia.com wouldn't install the drivers. it says no precompile interference was found for my kernel.
any help appriciated
