Post Fedora Core 6 NTFS Support + Kernel Questions.

Hello,

Can any one tell me the Minimum requirements for the "Fedora Core 6" ?
Is NTFS Read support build into the "Fedora Core 6" Kernel ? If not is there any good compilation article for the latest kernel release and how to include the NTFS Support ? And what are the packages which must be installed to compile the kernel ?

Thanks in advance

I think mounting NTFS partitions read-only works in FC6, but for read-write you need to install extra software..and even if you do, it won't work well (50% of writes/deletes might not work or something). And on x86_64 it might not work at all.

To mount a NTFS partition, mount it like you would any other but use filesystem type "ntfs"; it's read-only by default.
