Angry Fantom Drive MTT40 (USB 2.0) drive not being recognized.

I recently received a Fantom Drive MTT40 USB 2.0 hard drive.

My dad tried to use it on his Windows XP laptop, but it wouldn't see the drive. I tried it on my Linux machine right now, and it's not seeing it either!

Here's the dmesg | tail output:
Code:
usb 3-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
scsi6 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
usb-storage: device found at 11
usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning
usb 3-4: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 11
usb 3-4: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 11
usb 3-4: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 11
usb 3-4: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 11
scsi 6:0:0:0: scsi: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery
usb-storage: device scan complete
The line I'm wondering about is the second last one, "scsi 6:0:0:0: ...".
