Failed to Start the X server (your graphical interface).

Failed to Start the X server (your graphical interface). (EE) I810(0): No Video BIOS Modes for chosen depth. How do you fix this. I did a fresh install with a dual boot Windows Vista. This sysem was working as a strait boot Fedora Core 6 (ZOD).

Try this:

Login as root and make sure you are not in X and run:

X -configure

Edit the file ~/xorg.config.new to your liking.

You may need to add the X module for your video card, unless it can use the generic VGA X module.

To test the configuration run:

X -config ~/sorg.config.new

The output will tell you what is going on wrong. Let me know what you get.
