Unhappy EZ100PU smartcard reader doesn't work until replugged in

I'm trying to install EZ100PU smartcard reader on the Linux in our company, which I believe is a modified Fedora 10.

The issue is that my EZ100PU smartcard reader doesn't work whenever I start pcscd. However, it works after I replug it.

I tried pcscd -d -f to see what's going on. The following is the output snippet:

Code:
pcscdaemon.c:267:main() pcscd set to foreground with debug send to stderr
pcscdaemon.c:512:main() pcsc-lite 1.5.5 daemon ready.
hotplug_libhal.c:318:get_driver() Looking a driver for VID: 0x0CA6, PID: 0x0010

hotplug_libhal.c:318:get_driver() Looking a driver for VID: 0x1D6B, PID: 0x0001
I then replugged my EZ100PU, the following messages showed up:
Code:
hotplug_libhal.c:366:HPAddDevice() Adding USB device: usb_device_ca6_10_noserial_if0
readerfactory.c:1024:RFInitializeReader() Attempting startup of CASTLES EZ100PU 00 00 using /usr/local/pcsc/drivers/ezusb.bundle/Contents/Linux/ezusb.so
readerfactory.c:877:RFBindFunctions() Loading IFD Handler 3.0
readerfactory.c:249:RFAddReader() Using the pcscd polling thread
and my EZ100PU worked fine.

Our system installed PCSC-lite 1.5.5 and EZ100PU driver 1.4.9.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
