Hi everyone ,
I have an external hd of 80gb that connects with usb2.0 but linux I think is not recognising since I cant mount it. Im using Debian Sarge 3.1r with 2.4.27-2-386 kernel.
This is the output I get from dmesg:
Quote:
hub.c: new USB device 00:1f.4-2, assigned address 2
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usb.c: USB device not accepting new address=2 (error=-110)
hub.c: new USB device 00:1f.4-2, assigned address 3
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usb.c: USB device not accepting new address=3 (error=-110)

At first I was just trying to mount it but I kept getting this error: "mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device" so I realized linux wosnt piking it up.
What should I do?
PD:
