exit status of parent of /sbin/cardmgr: 1

I installed the pcmcia-cs 3.2.5 to enable the monitor mode on my Intersil Prism2 PCMCIA cardon my SuSe 8.2 Pro machine and I get the following message when I:

rcpcmcia restart

Shutting down PCMCIA done
Starting kernel PCMCIA startproc: exit status of parent of /sbin/cardmgr: 1 failed

Any ideas ?

Thanks
