error efi system on centos


Hi*I have laptop and is support UEFI BOOT but when i put it the cd for centOS 6.4 can't see the CD in booting after restart but ubunto ore opensuse it is booting and installing Easily .So Is there a different way to install centos with UEFI System.

Please help

as you are aware, or not .
CentOS like RHEL was never designed to be ran on a laptop
and dose not support a lot of the hardware that is in most laptops.

also WHAT "cd" are you using ?
the "CentOS-6.4-x86_64-LiveCD.iso "
that is a LIVE cd and is VERY limited by the fact that it is only 702 Meg
or did you put the "net install" on a cd
CentOS-6.4-x86_64-netinstall.iso -- all 230 Meg of it
to be ran from a lan

using the install DVD is recommended
the 4.1 Gig
"CentOS-6.4-x86_64-bin-DVD1.iso"

I am used centos 6.4 64bit DVD and i installed centos on my laptop with out efi and is working good but with efi not working
