Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

electriQ 4k monitor intermittently cutting out

I recently got a cheap and cheerful electriQ 4k monitor (EIQ-284KMB-HDR) which I'm using with a Vega 54 but it intermittently cuts out going entirely blank for a second, usually when there's a lot of full screen changes. I've noticed it when scrolling in Google maps or when trying to watch a film.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I do not have the monitor you do, but on a dell display had this problem, which turned out to be a cheap cable.

Thanks for the tip, replacing the cable seems to have done it. It worked fine for 1080 but not 4k.
