Question Disabling my Mousepad

I've searched for a solution and I couldn't find one, so...

My thumb keeps hitting my mousepad every time I hit the spacebar, with irritating results. Is there a command I can run to disable and enable my mousepad on my laptop? I'm running RH7.2.

Thumbs up

hey Rotten, on my Gateway Solo 9300 running RH 7.3 all I do is plug a mouse into the PS/2 port, and my mouse pad is disabled, I have the same problem in any OS, damn those useless thumbs.
