I have an IBM PC 300PL PIII with RH8. I have no manual as I bought it used.
Does anyone happen to know how to disable the onboard video. I have installed a radeon 7000 and am having a few problems getting it to run the way I want.
Kudzu insisits on recognizing the onboard video and configuring it in addition to the radeon. I think X gets confused sometimes re which card to use.
There is no way that I can find to disable the onboard video.in the bios.
There is a block of dip switches that I suspecct could hold my solution.
If all else fails I guess I could uninstall the radeon and startup using the onboard video and testing as I flip each switch. That is someting I don't really relish doing.
The manual states that the onboard video is automatically disabled when another card is inserted. and that there are not any settings one can make. Linux still finds the onboard card so I guess I will just have to try t work around it.
