Yes I did, and there is some info on the base system, and some notes of NIC Driver problems with some versions of Linux.

no problems whatsoever with sc440

Hello, I'm running an SC440 with the same configuration but smaller disks, it's running ubuntu server 7.10 amd64 with no problems. I've also read about NIC problems with older Ubuntus but right now it's working well.

Thank you for the reply

Thanks, I'll post here if/when I have a chance to test an install on one I'm holding on to for someone else.

It has a Xeon Processor.

dell, poweredge, server, ubuntu
