i have a D-Link DFM-560I+ hardware modem provided by a good reseller my first modem was completly gone so i had to look for a new one. but this modem shows up in cat /proc/pci but will not be found by anything other then that.

its defently there i used setserial quite a few times and its a hardware modem so it should not have a problem. also this is what shows up in wvdial

Did you configure it properly with setserial?
