Cruzer mini flash drive times out
Hi there,
I just bought a cruzer mini 256 flash drive few days ago and I can't have it working in Linux (I'm using SuSE pro 8.2). I've read several of the post in this forum and googled for quit a long time, but I have been able to solve the problem. I would really appreciate any help.
Here is the info I've got:
#dmesg

I got this when I just insert the flash drive and it beeps. After a couple of seconds or so, it beeps again and I get this:
#dmesg

I tried typing modprobe usb-storage before with the same result. I also created the mount point and ad a line to my fstab file, so it looks like this:
linux:~ # cat /etc/fstab
/dev/hda3 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
/dev/hda1 /windows/C ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=iso8859-1 0 0

/dev/cdrom /media/cdrom auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
/dev/sda1 /mnt/usb ext3,vfat defaults,noauto,users 0 0
I also uncommented the line
alias usb-interface usb-ohci
in the file /etc/modules.conf
