configuring a logi mouseman
hiya
i'm trying to install slackware 8 on a old p200 machine, 64mb, 2mb matrox millen. card.... 8gb hd..yada yada
and win2k can detect this old logitech mouseman but i cant figure out what to use when i do the xf86config...
i've tried almost everything... and yes ... logitech mouseman in the options
the mobo has the serial port installed seperately
so its only com1
and i cant get xwindows to *use* the mouse... i do mouseconfig and xf86config and tell it logitech mouseman serial in both places and it wont go... yet win2k can detect it so i know its working...
since it was the previous OS before i made linux take over...
any help is appreciated thanks!

ah nevermind i figured it out
i chose logi in "mouseconfig" and the stupid com was 3 instead of 1 or 2...tricky thing!
i wonder why it'd do that ..with an installed serial separate from the old mobo...
