Configure module in Harddrake locks Mandrake, need help

I've got Mandrake 9.2 installed on a Abit IS7 motherboard.

I try to get the onboard NIC to work (3com 3c940), but when I press "Configure module" the program lock up... (The button get pressed, then nothing more)
The same thing happens with the sound card, and in both cases the CPU utilization is 100%...

What is wrong? Any idea?

I'm not using MDK9.2, but that button you clicked, there should be another there, I can't remember the name of it, but try the 'other' button first.
Also, almost all the modules like that have readme's, maybe you can 'manually' configure the modules. Have fun!
