colorado 700


i have a colorado 700 tape drive how do i get it to work with mandrake limited edition 2005

Not enough information. What is the exact model number of the drive? How does it connect to the computer?
Parallel port, IDE, Floppy cable, SCSI? i.e. The jumbo drives use the floppy cable and the trakkers use the parallel port.

If uses the floppy cable then you will need to install ftape.

it is a colorado 700, trakker700 uses a parallel port
