Cd-Rom nor Floppy are Mounting

I could not access my cdrom drive so I made a script and then edited rc.local so it would load my script on start up. My script makes my cd-rom mount... but the thing is I have to have a data cd in my drive when I boot my computer for it to work. So I also had to modify my BIOS so my computer doesn't try to boot from cd (yea, overkill :P )

From fstab:
Quote:
/dev/hdd /mnt/hdd supermount umask=0022,user,codepage=850,iocharset=iso9660,exec,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto iocharset=iso9660,codepage=850,sync,unhide,noauto,nosuid,umask=0022,user,nodev 0 0
What do I need to change the above to so both my cd-rom drive and floppy drive work on boot? I am looking forward to removing my custom script ;-)

Actually, you need a disk in the drive unless you use supermount. If you want supermount you have to get the patch and compile the kernel yourself.

Supermount has been compiled... hence it works...

I remember just editing fstab and it worked before...
