CD Music not playing for user

I have a strange situation where in Fedora Core, as a regulr user I can view files on a CD, but it gives "disk error" if I try to play music. However, it plays the music fine as root. Is this something to do with the fstab file?

Check User Settings

Try checking that user has access to cdrom group and check /etc/fstab
If changing user group priviliges doesn't help, post contents of fstab
