cant install Network card

I just installed slackware and am trying to install my Dlink DGE 510t network card. I have used the linux drivers provided with the card but when i run insmod dl2k i get the error init_module: no such device

I have gone through the same process with another card which in the printout os lspci is shown to be Altima (nee broadcom) AC9100 Gigabit ethernet. I get the same error when I do insmod AC1000 (which is what the drivers supplied with this card compile down too)

Can anyone point out what im doing wrong

Cheers, Rooboy

try:
modprobe dl2k

Make sure the driver install properly updated modules.conf or modprobe.conf
