Question Cannot set fan speed on RX 6700 XT on ubuntu 20 kernel 5.11 rocm 4.5

Hi all,
I try to set fan speed on RX 6700 XT on ubuntu 20. Currently I'm using ubuntu 20.4.3 with kernel 5.11.0-40 and try to control it using rocm 4.5 with its cli, rocm-smi -setfan, however despite it says that it set the fan speed, its RPM remain zero.

I've been swapping kernel and driver versions, different opencl and rocm version, but nothing works. Any suggestion?

regards

If the fan speed read zero, I would suspect an improper BIOS setting first. Have you checked your settings to make sure the fans are being monitored?
