yes, it isnt the all message, but is when it say anything about the video imput and the sensors...
well, i will see you on the spca50x chat on saturday or sunday...(i from argentina, so ours hours may be not the same at the chat, but if i see you i will keep an eye on the chat....)
thanks you again....see you!
From what i see from your log ([ 52.434320] usb 1-1: No supported image sensor detected) your image sensor is not yet implemented in the gspca/spca5xx driver, please try (if you haven't tried yet) with the drivers provided from this page too http://www.linux-projects.org/modules/mydownloads/ , i dont think that you have an philips based webcam but you might want to try with this too http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/.
i have probed with this page http://www.linux-projects.org/modules/mydownloads/, with the ZC0301 Driver, but (i did make, make install and modprobe zc0301) and i reboot the pc, but i have not change. i have writen to the guy in this forum: http://www.linux-projects.org/module...id=209&forum=5, but he didnt answer my question....it seems that the problem is the sensor. and in this discussion there are people that have the same message of me: no supported image sensor detected.
well, in a few days there will be a new version of ubuntu, so may be that a new kernel or something new support my camera...
i dont know how to change the sensor, and which sensor i need to put or to install or to enable. or if the sensor is in the camera, i dont know how to know which is it....
blassmegod, i will see you in the chat or in this forum...and thank you again to help me!!! bye
Well, looks like i have similiar problem with GearHead Model WC735i - Vimicro USB Camera (Altair) (0ac8:3450) by Z-Star Microelectronics. Can you please advise?
