Can't mount CD-Rom

I am having an issue mounting my CD-Rom. If I pop in an audio CD it will play it fine in Banshee. But when I try to mount it I get this error:

#mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/cdrom /home/cdrom
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so

When I looked at my fstab, there was no line pertaining to the cdrom so I added this line:

/dev/cdrom /home/cdrom iso9660 ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0

so my fstab now looks like this:

/dev/hda6 / reiserfs acl,user_xattr 1 1
/dev/hda7 /home reiserfs acl,user_xattr 1 2
/dev/hda1 /windows/C ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hda5 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/cdrom /home/cdrom iso9660 ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
debugfs /sys/kernel/debug debugfs noauto 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0

But I still get that same error. When I looked at the syslog, here is what came up:

hdc: rw=0, want=68, limit=4
isofs_fill_super: bread failed, dev=hdc, iso_blknum=16, block=16
SFW2-INext-DROP-DEFLT IN=eth0 OUT= MAC= SRC=192.168.111.101 DST=192.168.111.255 LEN=259 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=64 ID=0 DF PROTO=UDP SPT=138 DPT=138 LEN=239

attempt to access beyond end of device
hdc: rw=0, want=68, limit=4
isofs_fill_super: bread failed, dev=hdc, iso_blknum=16, block=16
attempt to access beyond end of device
hdc: rw=0, want=68, limit=4
isofs_fill_super: bread failed, dev=hdc, iso_blknum=16, block=16

Thank you in advance for any help.

You cannot mount an audio CD as audio CDs do not contain any filesystem ! Audio CDs will read in directly by media players and ripping software.

BTW, why do you want to mount an Audio CD ? You want to rip it ? Use a ripping software which will do the job wihtout you having to mount the Audio CD !! ;-)
