can't get sound working


i'm trying to make work a sb Live 24 bit on Debian Testing with kernel 2.6.8-2-386
in lspci there is 0000:03:05.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Audigy LS
but alsaconf (1.0.10) doesn't detect anything

have you looked in HCL to see how well it has worked for other users. Also try to update everything you can. Sometimes this works out some of the the problems.

Thanx. I've resolved upgrading kernel from 2.6.8 to 2.6.15
