Can't Eject my CDROM!!!

I just installed Slackware 10.0 on my Toshiba 1405-S151
Everything has been running perfect except my dvd-rom/cdburner combo drive.
When i put a cd in it mounts and reads fine but when i try to eject, it won't let me
I can unmount the drive but upon trying to eject i get the error "Device or rescource busy"
I can't even open the drive by pushing the button on the side of the laptop
So is there any buffer flushing i need to do?
I'm up for suggestions
Thanks in advance

You can't unmount a device if something is accessing it. You may have had a directory listing window open, which was closed when you exited KDE. That's just a guess. -- J.W.
