Friends
I have a problem with my C-Media sound card. I have tried searching the forums and tried just about everything I could to get this card working.
(RH8 2.4.18-8.0)
The driver appears to work when I run:
cat /dev/dsp - and I do get output
I have also tried:
./modprobe cmpci - still no sound from sndconfig

Output from running dmesg returns: PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with 00:1d.1
Redundant entry in serial pci_table.
Any Suggestions?
