drone626 LQ Newbie Registered: Jan 2009 Posts: 4 Rep:	Right now I am running the following: Intel E8400 3.0 GHZ Asus P5K/EPU MoBo Sapphire Radeon 3870HD 512M OCZ Platinum DDR2 1066 8G Samsung 2253bw monitor Arch64 w/ fluxbox matched with thunar and idesk. What a system I tell you. I program mainly so I wanted a system to handle hardcore scientific apps. So far, handles everything I can throw at it. Also handles movies with mplayer really good.
