I am useing Linux Red Hat v7, I had to move the machine to another location but connected to the same port, I turned the server off moved the cableing and the machine, now when booting the machine its stops at bringing up loopback interface(OK never appears). It will not continue the boot process.
do an interactive boot and choose "no" when prompted to start the network. once in, try manually starting it from a terminal and see if there are any interesting errors in dmesg or /var/log/messages. as you've already booted you should be able to kill the processes easily.

I have only been using linux a few months and really have no idea how to do a interactive boot on LINUX. Can you please walk me through the process.
there is a large banner across the middle of the screen that says "press I for interactive boot" or similar. also please be aware that redhat 7 is about 6 years old now, and really really out of date... consider something newer and more friendly
