Angry ATI TV Wonder BTTV problem on Mandrake 10

Hello, I've been trying to get my TV card to work for like 2 or 3 hours now with the aid of the search function here The latest problem however, I can't find any info on. I get the error below when I run modprobe bttv and dmesg. TV-Time loads and says there is no signal (suprise suprise) The last 100 or so lines look exactly the same "skipped frame" / "high IRQ latency" It does continue past what I've posted but I assumed it's redundant. What in the heck does this mean? Any help much appreciated...

It can be a couple of things:

Might be a bad signal, try testing with a vcr.

Might by a IRQ issue, move to a different PCI slot/ swap around PCI cards.

Try a different kernel. Lots of V4L users report better experiences with the 2.4 kernels. You could also upgrade to MDK 10.1.
