Atheros ar5005g ubuntu 7.04 support


About to install linux on my aspire 5100-5022 laptop. Just wandering if the Atheros ar5005g wifi card will work native on ubuntu 7.04, or will I have to use ndiswrapper.

Being Atheros based it should use madwifi. A better choice over the ndiswrapper for it.

Downloaded Ubuntu, and it is a live cd. The Wifi worked out of the box. Thanks.
