Question Anyone using K7SOM mobo with RH8 ?


Wondering if this ECS K7SOM mobo with Duron onboard works fine with RH8, any experience?

From a similar thread here, I found that
adding "pci=bios" to the boot config works.
Voila, lspci works, kudzu detects the Ethernet
and soundcard, LAN works, sound works.
Maybe USB even works.

In GRUB boot, hit "a" (append) and add the pci
option. Or edit /etc/grub.conf

I have K7SOM+ V5.2C, RedHat 8.0
