AMD RX480 Bad OpenGL performance

Hello!
Today I installed the Rx480 GPU on a system running an updated openSuse Tumbleweed.
The desktop renders fine without any visible errors. When starting games or benchmarks however the frame rate is significantly lower than it should be.
On Unigine heaven for example I get about 25 fps. The same Problem occurs on Fedora 24.

Unfortunately this is all Info I can currently provide but I would gladly provide any logfiles if someone tells me their location.

I did not manually install any drivers and it should be using the one delivered with the kernel

Edit:
Using modprobe I can confirm that the amdpgu driver is loaded
Also here is a screenshot of some OpenGL infos in case it helps: Link

well there we go

install the driver
the opensource one in the suse repos
or the closed source from AMD's driver site

Which drivers exactly are you talking about?
The x11-xorg-driver-amdgpu was already installed on opensuse and installing it on fedora did nothing. Is this the wrong package?

The closed source driver by Amd only works on Ubuntu or Rhel so that does not work either

I just tested these drivers but as it seems these are only for older amd cards. The latest generation only works with a new driver called "amdgpu". The opensuse wiki has not been updated yet.

This driver is already installed but not working correctly for me
