AMD Athlon(tm) prosussor

No folks, that's no typo. Whenever I cat /proc/cpuinfo, the "model name" shows up as AMD Athlon(tm) prosussor. It's the weirdest thing I've seen. I just recently got this processor, an Althon XP 2500+, actually.

Anyone else seen this before? I've looked around on google, and while there seems to be some discussion about it, I've not yet found a real answer.

I found a thread on Google that claimed this was caused by a BIOS problem; in which case, upgrading your BIOS should fix the typo.
