Talking a mouse problem.


Hi ALL,

i have a Qunatum Optical 3D Mouse and its like this:
i have 2 hard drives 1st with red hat 9+kde ,and 2nd hard drive with winxp now the problem is that after i restart winxp, then boot to the linux harddrive the mouse still works smooth and all but after i restart linux and boot into the winxp harddrive the mouse stops responding only if i unplug and replug the mouse its working agian this is so annoying errr...anyway if any of u knows what do plz let me know ,thx in advance

is it a usb mouse. this sounds like a very strange problem because there should be no interaction between the two OSes. sorry I can't help more, im really just posting to spur other lq members to answer :-)

its a serial mouse not usb made from quantum
