8800gtx

I am wondering if anyone has had any problems with using the 8800GTX under linux. I use to use linux as my primary os until I upgraded video cards and had problems with it detecting my card. I am really wanting to get back to linux as I am not extremely happy with the limited customization in xp pro. I have never tried kubuntu but am downloading it to load up tonight, I may just go back to slackware as I enjoyed it and all the custamizing I was able to do with it.

Thanks for all comments and suggestions.

there is no problem with this card. A little slow 2d performance in kde, but that's driver related and got better with the newest version.
However, I'd recommend to always use the latest driver from the nvidia site (not the one from distribution repositories) as this card is still pretty new and every new driver version brings some visible improvement.
