3c509b nic on RHEL 5? 2.6 kernel

hi,

has anyone got the 3com509b ISA card to work under Red Hat Enterprise level 5.3, using the 2.6 kernel?
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.3 (Tikanga)
Kernel 2.6.18-128.el5 on an i686

We did find an rpm for RH9, 2.4 kernel
Linux 2.4.20-lc_lk #2 Tue May 27 19:50:17 EDT 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
for our current system

but no luck on the RHEL 5.3 yet...Trying to upgrade to the latest 2.6 kernel but can't upgrade hardware.

Does anyone have some suggestions?

Suggestions? isapnptools.

Go to source if you have to start messing with drivers or across kernel versions.
