ZFS on root

Hello there!

I have a EFISTUB kernel and i want use zfs on root. I try use some guide, like this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...h_Linux_on_ZFS

But there are no answers to my questions. I create pool and zfs partitions, and write in kernel options "zfs=bootfs", but after reboot, i got an error "can't mount on unknow block".

Hi,

ZFS is not in the main kernel tree, you have to add the zfs module into the initrd, and make sure it is correctly installed after every kernel upgrade.
Distributions like Debian solve this using DKMS.

I didn't use initrd. I use modules builtin in bzImage.

Ok, in that case

Check that you set correctly the boot device. (root kernel option) This error happens when the kernel doesn't know where to find the rootfs.
