xfree with 19'' tft at 60 Hz

hello

i have bought a Samsung Syncmaster 192V tft display *proudsmile*, and
have problem getting it working at 60 hz. Its working perfectly at
1280 x 1024 @ 75 hz,but this unsharpes my display.
Regarding the display manual the best result can be reached with 60 Hz.
I have tried configure XFree without any modelines, this results in
1280x1024 at 75hz. The Hsync and Vsync freqs entered in the config file bellow accord the specs of my flatpanel

I have also tried my own modelines created with the xmode tool which is
part of saxtools from suse.
Code:
sammy@uranos:~ $ xmode -x 1280 -y 1024 -r 60
59
55
Modeline "1280x1024" 102.24 1280 1296 1552 1736 1024 1024 1033 1070
The following modelines didn't work either...
Code:
sammy@uranos::~ $ xmode -x 1280 -y 1024 -r 60 -s 31
30
28
Modeline "1280x1024" 51.58 1280 1296 1552 1696 1024 1024 1028 1070
Code:
sammy@uranos::~ $ xmode -x 1280 -y 1024 -r 60 -s 50
48
45
Modeline "1280x1024" 83.20 1280 1296 1552 1736 1024 1024 1031 1070
Code:
sammy@uranos::~ $ xmode -x 1280 -y 1024 -r 60 -s 81
59
55
Modeline "1280x1024" 102.24 1280 1296 1552 1736 1024 1024 1033 1070
I have an nvidia card installed and the drivers from www.nvidia.com so i have played with this Options:
Code:
Option       "UseEdidFreqs" "on"
Option       "IgnoreEDID" "on"
Option       "ConnectedMonitor" "DFP"
My Xfree version running on slackware 9.1
