x0rfbserver Install Help [RH 7.3]

I've read the docs, search forums, and archives and still I can't get this to install on my system.

Right now I'm working with " rfb-0.6.1.tar.gz" & "xclass-0.6.2.tar.gz"

I've untarted them both and read the instructions on how to install, but this does NOT work.

It says that I need to "make depend" and then "make" and it should install, well it does not.

I'm on KDE, trying to connect to my linux box from my win2k box. I would like to get this up and running so I'm able to admin my linux box while I'm away on my win2k box.

I'm not really getting any error messages on install, so I don't know what error I can post.

Please help? Thanx!!!
