wu-ftp not working on redhat 7.1

Hi, I have a redhat 7.1 with 2 nics (one is local ip and the other one is valid static ip). I can connect to the ftp server from another machine in the local area network using the local IP address, but I can not connect using the valid static IP address. I got the "Receive Error: Blocking Call Cancelled" error. Anyone can help?

Thanks.

where are you connecting from?

are you on the internal interface trying to connect using the static ip or are you physically outside on the static nic?

Have you tried changing the passive mode on the client?
