where should my sendmail program be?

i don't know where my sendmail program is LOL

i used to know where it is but i don't now. i'd like to have my forum send out email notices under its own power rather than relying on my ISP's smtp server which takes about 20 minutes before it sends the mail.....

yes i used the search tool in konqueror but it didn't actually find any files named sendmail, just things like perl_sendmail and sendmail.serv and things like that.....

what are you looking for specifically .... are you looking for the configuration files or the actual binary??

do a "locate sendmail"

the actual binary, i selected to install everything but firewall/router when i installed Mandrake.

there are lots of folders named sendmail but no binaries, what folder SHOULD it be in?
