where i will get the source code of Linux?? and ...


hi all,
can anyone give me the following answere pls?
From where I can get the Linux source code?? is it free of cost?
Modifying the source code can anyone invent a Distorbution of Linux?What
may be the terms and conditions behind it??

What particular source code i will be getting? is it depended on particular
distrobution(like-Rehat,Mandrak or suse source code)??
