please advise.
im using gnome2.4
if this cant be done, or isnt the best mail reader, please say so.
AFAIK its web based email only for free accounts, etc. And if they did allow email from outside their site, I'm sure its going to be the standard protocols, etc. But asking people here what their mail servers are is unlikely, you should ask the developers or owners of linuxmail.org for that information, etc.

thanks, but i was a bit unclear in what i wanted.
ok, ill rephrase question.
i dont know why, but with default configurations, sending mail works fine.
i sent one to another of my email accounts, and it even traced back to my linuxmail.org account.
but when i click check mail, i does a quick check and says nothing is in the inbox. i know of at least 3 mails in the inbox, but they dont show up.
how do i make recieve work, and keep send working right?
do i need to set up some user setting in balsa?
i didnt have to to get send working.

Like I said in my previous post and now checking out linuxmail.org, if you want to use third party clients like "balsa" to download your email, you have to pay for that service from linuxmail.org. If you didn't pay or don't pay for that service, you have to retrieve your email using their web-based software to login, etc.
Anyone can send using any type of email address, hell, give me your address and I'll send you an email that looks like its from you..
But again, refer to linuxmail.org for these type of issues if you paid for it and it doesn't work to get the correct support and mail servers to use, etc.
