Question

i was talking about ctrl+c and ctrl-v in the context of copying a file. I am doing a project in that i want to keep track of file copies i.e, create a log which stores all file copy details. So we first found out different ways to copy files and tracking how to modify them to create the log. for cp command i wrote a shell script and calling that from cp command. that is working fine. now i want to change the source of ctrl+c and ctrl+v commands. so tell me how to proceed

I don't know if this is a work-related project, or a homework assignment.

If the former, I would strongly urge you to "proceed" like this:
Quote:
1. Step back

2. Clearly define your REQUIREMENTS
Quote:
What, as concretely as possible, is your GOAL?
Not "How do I do it?"
Rather, "What exactly needs to be DONE?"
3. Based on WHAT you want to do, consider re-thinking HOW you propose to do it.
IMHO .. PSM
