vsftpd & ssl - how do I tell if it's actually vsftpd maintaining the connections??
I installed vsftpd and set it up to use ssh.
How can I tell that it's actually vsftpd that's handling the logins, requests, authentication, and the data transfers?
I'm unsure how to do this.
I also have one more question. Is there a way to chroot() ssh users. Because apparently, in order to use ssh and vsftpd I have to let the clients have a valid shell, so I want to lock them in. It's set in the vsftpd config file to chroot them, but it's not. So I'm thinking it's either vsftpd that's not working correctly, or I need to chroot() the user with their .ssh/config in their home directory.
I appreciate the help, thanks!
