/usr/bin/sar error

hello,
running RH 2.6.9-22.ELsmp
I started getting this error when doing
'/usr/bin/sar -ubcwqBrRW 30 1'
$? equals 1 and the sar output ends with this message
"Please give a smaller interval value"

Lowering the intrval down to 10 did not make any difference. This used to work. Last updates were the daylight savings patch.

Any ideas?
