Using DMESG

This is not about a problem -- there is no problem.

But when I boot (I'm using Sidux, a variant of Debian) I see a message saying basically "pcspkr already detected". I can review that message with Dmesg.

But where does the message come from? I would like to do something like comment out the program whereever it is and tell it not to bother to look for pcspkr because it is always already detected at that point. But Dmesg gives me no clue where it is.

How do I track down the source of the message?

This is probably most likely coming from the kernel when it's scanning for devices, etc. pcspkr can be loaded as a module to my knowledge, if it's built into the kernel, you might be able to remove it from trying to load it as a module if that's the case.
