Tweaking Display Settings with Live CD


I have this Dell LCD monitor that doesn't seem to display any thing above 480x600 pixel resolution when I boot it with knoppix 4.0.2.

And so I'm trouble shooting with these options and asking for advice as I go along.

"knoppix screen=1280x1024 depth=24" doesn't give it any improvements.


Here's the specs that might give someone some hints to help this dilemmna:
